Very soon we are expecting the engineers report in respect to the damage to our buildings and the scope of work needing to be undertaken. Realistically, given the ongoing nature of the aftershocks and the new seismic events hat seem to be hitting every few months, we would not expect to be back in our main sanctuary for Christmas. However, following further engineers checks we have been given clearance for the use of the back hall following the June 13th earthquakes. We have been assured that the back hall we are meeting in is safe to use. If there is any challenge with using the back hall it is space. It’s a great problem to have. At the end of each Sunday my associate and myself send each other the message: "Another great Sunday. God is at work. The people are praying". - Andrew (Vicar)

Great news! St Albans primary school, our neighbours over the fence, are kindly and generously letting us use a couple of their rooms for our Children's Programme on Sunday morning during the 10.30am service. We will utilise these facilities from next week, 22nd May.

Thank you for visiting our website. Like many churches and places in Christchurch we are in something of a state of flux in regards which parts of our plant we can use.
At the moment our services are being held in the Parish lounge. From feedback meeting in a more informal setting is certainly not proving a problem. It is the people after all that make the church and people are in good heart. In these challenging days, though much around us is in chaos in our beautiful city, we can trust in the One who is always constant. We have much to be thankful for. We continue to hope and pray that we can again utilise our facilities in the way that we did before the events of September, January and February changed things for so many of us around the city.
In the meantime let me warmly invite you to visit us on a Sunday or Wednesday morning. We would love to see you.
